My Story

Welcome! I'm excited to share my journey with you.

For two decades, I immersed myself in the corporate world, tethered to my desk for long hours. This sedentary lifestyle took its toll, wreaking havoc on my body. Battling poor posture, weakened core strength, and the constant struggle to prioritize fitness amidst the demands of corporate life, I found myself out of balance.

Discovering Pilates over fifteen years ago was a game-changer. Stepping onto the mat, I found not just a workout, but a transformative practice that restored my core strength and reconnected me with my body on a deeper level.

As I entered my thirties, I realized the importance of complementing Pilates with strength training, particularly for women. Research underscored the critical role of building muscle as we age - a protective measure our bodies desperately need.

Driven by my passion for health and wellness, I made the bold decision to leave behind the corporate world and pursue my calling full-time. Thus, I founded my own company, dedicated to providing Pilates instruction and strength training to women like myself - individuals seeking balance, strength, and vitality in their lives.

My Mission

Having experienced the demands of corporate life firsthand, I understand the toll it can take on our bodies, minds, and spirits. We give our all in the office and at home, often leaving little energy to nourish ourselves. 

This realization fueled the creation of Curls & Pilates Holistic Retreats - a sanctuary for women to reclaim their well-being and replenish their spirits. It's a chance for us to give back to ourselves, restore our balance, and continue blazing trails - both in the workplace and beyond.
